The Sinica Podcast comes to UW for a live show with special guest Lina Benabdallah. Sinica hosts Kaiser Kuo and Jeremy Goldkorn will chat with Dr. Benabdallah about her work on the African community in Guangzhou, on the challenges that African students have faced in China, and how China’s growing involvement with Africa has impacted Africans living in China.

Light refreshments will be served. This event is sponsored by the African Studies Program, the Center for East Asian Studies, and the Institute for Regional and International Studies.

Based in Beijing, the Sinica Podcast invites prominent China-watchers to participate in uncensored discussions about Chinese political and economic affairs.
